[Verse 1]
I was young and loved to fight
I was never wrong but always right, yeah
Blame it on me
I was young and hurt before
And I’m gonna lay it down and make sure, yeah
Blame it on me
I’ll plant my foot down
Got my choice but I wanna go home
Blame it on me
Life’s sweet and life’s bad
Got my stuff but I shouldn’t be laughing
Blame it on me

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I must find
There’s no love in my life
Don’t be

[Chorus]
Throwing your life away
Throwing your life away (Oh!)
Don't you find it so easy to just say no?
To just say no?

[Verse 2]
I was living high and low
Got my place and got my soul
Blame it on me
I feel like hunger
Got my stuff cause I got your heart
Blame it on me
I’ll see you doing bad
And I don’t got the time when I got my past
Blame it on me
I'll see you getting back
Got my time, then you're outside
Blame it on me

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I must find
There’s no love in my life
Don’t be

[Chorus]
Throwing your life away
Throwing your life away (Oh!)
Don't you find it so easy to just say no?
To just say no?
Throwing your life away
Throwing your life away (Oh!)
Don't you find it so easy to just say no?
To just say no?
Oh!
Da-da-doo
Da-da-do-da-da-da

[Bridge]
Release me
Someone said release me
Someone said release me
Someone said release me
Now I must find
Da-di-da-da-da

[Chorus]
Throwing your life away
Throwing your life away (Oh!)
(I love you) (Hee!)

[Outro]
Don't you find it so easy to just say no?
To just say no?

Don't you find it so easy to just say no?
To just say no?

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. Jackson began his career when he was seven years old as the lead singer of the Jackson 5, breaking into stardom in 1969 after signing into Motown. The Jackson 5’s first four singles all peaked at number one on the Billboard 100, and soon after Michael pursued a solo career.

His breakthrough fifth album, 1979’s Off The Wall produced four top ten hits (including “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”) and sold 20 million copies, establishing him as a household name. The album was followed with 1982’s Thriller, which became the best selling album of all time, and was the first album to feature seven top 10 singles, including “Billie Jean” and “Beat It.”

In 1985, Michael contributed to the collaboration single “We Are The World”, which remains one of the best-selling singles of all time and raised nearly $65 million for famine relief.
