Ooh, count this
Get your back up off the wall, dance all night
Get your back up off the wall, dance all night
Get your back up off the wall, dance all night
Get your back up off the wall, dance all night
Hey lil' mama
Tell me would you like it if the rain, rain came your way
I got me a couple dollars I could throw you on stage
I love the night life, allergic to sun rays
That's when them Apple Bottoms come out and they get paid
Like uh, truck stop, nah, we in the club till the bus stop, stop
This how we does until it shut down
Now shorty get you opened up
'Cause if you ain't, I'ma tell them like ooh, Michelle, tell them
Ooh there's somethin' 'bout the skylight tonight
Somethin' that makes me know everythin's gon' be alright
There's somethin' in the way that the stars align
There's not a single moment I'ma pass by
The hour's now, the bass is loud
The disco lights shinin' through the crowd
We're holdin' time in our hands and it stops
When we say, we say
And we ain't stoppin' 'til the mornin' light
Hold back the sun, don't let it come
Ain't stoppin' for no one, the night is young
Don't let 'em turn on the lights
Let us decide when they play that last song
The night is done when we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
Ooh, there somethin' on the surface right now
Somethin' the keeps me movin', diggin' deeper down
So I just let the speakers speak to me
Vibrations movin' on the floor, all around
The hour's now, the bass is loud
The disco lights shinin' through the crowd
We're holdin' time in our hands and it stops
When we say and we ain't stoppin' 'til the mornin' light
Hold back the sun, don't let it come
Ain't stoppin' for no one, the night is young
Don't let them turn on the lights
Let us decide when they play that last song
The night is done when we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
The daylight scene never hurt nobody
And if the DJ decides there ain't no more party
'Cause we determine when we're good and ready
We step outside 'til the sunrise, wait up and let me
Hey, I remember that, that, that, when the lights came on
I made it to the crib when my baby came home
Trying to hold back the sun when I wasn't that strong
Time on my hands, look, Flo Rida got grown
Right lane, Rolex, all across money
Turn off the lights and my wrist still sunny
No more curfew, clubbin' is the virtue
And the moon, now my dance piece, nothin' but a surf, boo
Yeah shawty, 360 degrees
So tell the DJ to party, I ain't ready to leave
I want it, hot, hot till I'm feelin' the heat
And if I'm in the sweat box then I'm spillin' my greed
Now my fresh T-shirt, yup, that'll work
Back with your skirt through lil' mama, this verse
No disc, keep it poppin', don't go to commercial
Let me decide when we done with rehearsal
We ain't goin' nowhere 'til we good and ready
Ohh, break the dawn
Hold back the sun, don't let it come
Ain't stoppin' for no one, the night is young
Don't let 'em turn on the lights
Let us decide when they play that last song
The night is done
We gotta hold back the sun, don't let it come
Ain't stoppin' for no one, the night is young
Don't let 'em turn on the lights
Let us decide when they play that last song
The night is done
We gotta hold back the sun
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn
We break the dawn, we break the dawn

Michelle Williams

Tenitra Michelle Williams (born July 23, 1980) is an American recording artist and actress. Williams rose to fame in the 2000s as a member of R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, one of the best-selling female groups of all time[1] with over 60 million records, of which more than 35 million copies sold with the trio lineup with Williams.[2]

During their hiatus, she released her debut solo album Heart to Yours (2002) which topped the US gospel album chart and became the best-selling gospel release of the year. Also in 2002, Billboard, named her the fifth Top Gospel Artist of the year and she received a MOBO Award for “Best Gospel Act”.[3] Following this she released Do You Know (2004) which gained her a nomination for “Best Gospel Act” at the 2004 MOBO Awards.

After Destiny’s Child’s disbanded in 2006, Williams released her first pop album, Unexpected (2008),[4] which spawned the internationally charting single “We Break the Dawn” and the US Dance number-one “The Greatest”. Her fourth studio album, Journey to Freedom (2014), received positive reviews and became her highest-charting album in the US; preceded by lead single “If We Had Your Eyes” which reached the US Adult R&B top 20 and the Soul Train-nominated “Say Yes”, which charted internationally and topped the US Hot Gospel Songs chart for seven weeks. Journey to Freedom was nominated for Outstanding Gospel Album (Traditional or Contemporary) at the 46th NAACP Image Awards and earned Williams four nominations at the 30th annual Stellar Awards, winning Music Video of the Year for “Say Yes”.[5][6][7] In 2015 and 2016, Williams sang for U.S. President Barack Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House.[8][9]
