[Spoken]
Yes, you keep asking for it
And there comes a time when you find yourself falling back on your dreams
And in your dreams, there's always a girl
A very special girl
And if by some miracle she should become a reality
You know that ..... no going back

[Verse 1]
I reach for you and I touch the sky
I kiss your lips and a star goes by
And when I hold you it's all clear
I am in heaven when you are near

[Verse 2]
You are an angel, what can I do?
I'll never leave you my whole life through
I'm in a world of no return
And there's no return from you

[Verse 2 - Altered]
I'm in a world of no return
And there's no return from you

Nat “King” Cole

Nathaniel Adams Coles (17 March 1919 – 15 February 1965) was born in Montgomery, Alabama and used the stage name Nat “King” Cole throughout his career as a jazz pianist and later as a singer.

Cole’s first mainstream hit was “Straighten Up and Fly Right” in 1943. Bo Diddley, who performed similar folk-based material said that song was a big influence on him.

In the late 40s, Cole began recording more pop-oriented material. His stature as a pop singer was cemented by hits like “Route 66”, “Mona Lisa” and “Unforgettable”. In the 50s, virtually every home had a copy of his Christmas album.
