You've got changing faces
That never leave a clue
To those hiding faces
Locked inside of you
We made love so cool
You go running off in the night
To keep things undercover
But I saw her in the light
And I discovered your secrets

Secrets in your heart
You'll hear a knock-knock at your door
Secrets in your heart
(Secrets in the dark)
We'll come a-creepin'
Secrets

There is no escape
Don't you know she'll come back to haunt you
And she will seal your fate
As my memory will taunt you
Your mysterious exhibitions
I couldn't figure out before
Until I felt her kiss upon you
She was the key that unlocked the door
Into the world of your secrets

Secrets in your heart
You'll hear a knock-knock at your door
Secrets in your heart
(Secrets in the dark)
We'll come a-creepin'
Secrets

Secrets in your heart
She'll come a-knock-knocking for more
Secrets
Secrets in the dark, ooh-ooh-ooh
(Voices in the dark call out your secrets)

I wouldn't find out your secrets

Secrets in your heart
You'll hear a knock-knock at your door
Skeletons that you hide inside
Will come a-creepin'
Secrets in your heart

Secrets in your heart
You'll hear a knock-knock at your door
Secrets in your heart
(Secrets in the dark)
We'll come a-creepin'
Secrets

Natalie Cole

The daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, Natalie Marie Cole (February 6, 1950-December 31, 2015) was an R&B icon who was primarily active from 1956 until her death in 2015 due to congestive heart failure at age 65. She first rose to success in the mid-‘70s with Inseparable and Natalie and later spawning Grammy-recognized albums like Unforgettable…With Love, which took home Album of the Year.

Cole has nine Grammy Awards out of twenty-one nominations – only a small testament to her legend.
