[Talking]
Excuse me, did you call yourself a love expert?
Studied, graduated and qualified to show me what it's all about?
Oh honey, talk is cheap, you're gonna have to convince me

[Singing]
Did you say I've got a lot to learn
Well don't think I'm trying not to learn
Right here is the perfect spot to learn
Teach me tonight

Starting with the ABC of it
Right down to the XYZ of it
Teach me the whole mystery of it
Teach me tonight

Well the sky's a black board high above us
And if a shooting star should fly by
I'll take that star and write "I love you"
"I love you" a thousand times across the sky

One thing isn't very clear, my love
Should the teacher stand so near, my love
Graduation's almost here, my love
Come on and teach me tonight

[Interlude]

The sky's a blackboard high above you
And if a shooting star should fly by
I'll take that star and write "I love you"
A thousand times across the sky

Ahh, one thing, one thing isn't very clear
Should no teacher stand so near
Graduation's almost here
Come on and teach me tonight

Graduation's almost here, my love
Teach me, teach me tonight

Ohhh Ohh

Natalie Cole

The daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, Natalie Marie Cole (February 6, 1950-December 31, 2015) was an R&B icon who was primarily active from 1956 until her death in 2015 due to congestive heart failure at age 65. She first rose to success in the mid-‘70s with Inseparable and Natalie and later spawning Grammy-recognized albums like Unforgettable…With Love, which took home Album of the Year.

Cole has nine Grammy Awards out of twenty-one nominations – only a small testament to her legend.
