[Verse 1]
Lately I don't wanna sleep (I don't wanna go to sleep)
'Cause my life feel better than my dreams (My life is better than my dreams)
I'm in Hollywood, I'm on the scene (I'm on the scene)
But everythin' ain't what it seems
Everybody gonna treat you different when you on (On, on)
I just hope when they talk they remember my name when I’m gone (Gone, gone)
Cut my grass low, see the snakes (Ayy)
Don't know how they could lie to my face
They want a piece, see me stackin' my cake (Woah)
I'ma disappear, won’t leave a trace (Woah)
Girl, I’m callin' your phone 'cause I’m poppin' 'em pills again (Poppin' 'em pills again)
Girl, I’m lyin' to you when I say I’ll never lie again (You know I'ma lie again)
I’m gettin' old, I'm scared, I don't want the rockstar life to end
And I’m livin' the shit that I write 'cause it’s hard to pretend

[Chorus]
My life will never be the same (Yeah, I won't be the same)
But I'm scared I'm never gonna change (Yeah, I never change)
I'm addicted to the money and fame (Yeah)
I'm tryna control these thoughts in my brain (Yeah)
I'm scared I’m never gonna change, yeah (Yeah)
I'm scared I’m never gonna change (Yeah)
I'm addicted to the money and fame (You feel, ah)
I'm tryna control these thoughts in my brain (Yeah)

[Verse 2]
When they ask me if I’m good, I say, "Yeah", but I’m not (Not)
My bro is still homeless and he still cookin' on the pot (Pot)
He said, "I gotta get this money on the road"
I hope he don’t get caught (Caught)
Yeah, I'ma keep it real, I'ma stay with my day-ones from the block (Block)
To all of my enemies, it’s R.I.P
Now I don't need to show I.D. 'cause I'm VIP
Push start, don't start my car with a key
Went from eight balls to a half, to a key
I hated sellin' my beats, now I keep 'em all for me
I been goin' down the wrong path and I’m ignorin' the signs (The signs)
I’m havin' trouble organizin' the thoughts in my mind (Mind)
Now time is money so you know I'm not wastin' my time (Time)
If they pull me over, I don’t know what they gon' find

[Outro]
Yeah, yeah, yeah

NAV

Navraj Singh Goraya (born November 3, 1989), popularly known as NAV, is an Indian-Canadian recording artist, record producer, and engineer from Rexdale, Ontario, Canada, a district of Toronto. His parents are both from the state of Punjab in India and are fluent in the Punjabi language; NAV himself is fluent in both English and Punjabi and practices the religion of Sikhism, the religion the majority of Punjabs practice.

Following in the footsteps of Canadian singer The Weeknd, the co-founder and leader of XO and a frequent collaborator of his, NAV has preferred to let his SoundCloud do the talking in the early stages of his career. Although going largely unnoticed at the time of its release, NAV’s first noteworthy production credit was in July 2015 when he helped co-produce Drake’s diss track towards Meek Mill, “Back to Back.”

After hearing a string of successful SoundCloud hits, including the self-produced “Myself,” in 2016, Amir “Cash” Esmailian,, the co-founder and manager of XO, reached out to NAV, giving him an opportunity to expand from the revolutionary music platform. NAV has grabbed numerous features since linking up with The Weeknd and the rest of XO, consisting of Belly, 88GLAM, and Black Atlass. His first and arguably most recognizable feature (which he also solely produced) is Travis Scott’s September 2016 song, “beibs in the trap,” from Travis' sophomore studio album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
