[Chorus]
Diamonds
That's what we grind for
Diamonds
What these niggas be dyin' for (All I want is diamonds)
Love the feeling on my neck
Diamonds
I remember when I couldn't afford
Diamonds
That's what we grind for
Diamonds
What these niggas be dyin' for (All I want is diamonds)
Love the feeling on my neck
Diamonds
I remember when I couldn't afford

[Verse 1]
Fuck a job, I'm tryna get rich
Want to see the diamonds on my wrist
Get a little money and your family switch (Remember when they thought I wasn't gonna be shit)
Now they wanna call me 'cause I got some change, dawg (Telling me, "you changed dawg")
And I ain't doing this shit for the fame, dawg
I Just love when I put my chain on
Love the feeling that I get, when I'm laced up in Baguettes
On my watch got VVS
I remember being stressed, I had no diamonds
Remember, I couldn't afford, work on the floor
I hope they don't kick in the door

[Chorus]
Diamonds
That's what we grind for
Diamonds
What these niggas be dyin' for (All I want is diamonds)
Love the feeling on my neck
Diamonds
I remember when I couldn't afford
Diamonds
That's what we grind for
Diamonds
What these niggas be dyin' for (All I want is diamonds)
Love the feeling on my neck
Diamonds
I remember when I couldn't afford

[Verse 2]
I'm plottin' on makin' a mil
They askin', "Did he get a deal?"
These diamonds, they make niggas sick
They don't wanna see a young nigga get rich
For diamonds these bitches'll cry
For diamonds my niggas'll ride
I'm tryna see MIA but none of my niggas can fly
I don't know why, these niggas ain't doing they time
These niggas tellin'
And most of my closest friends are convicted felons
With nothin' to lose and somethin' to prove
Try to take my ice, just imagine what they gon' do
Niggas gon' shoot

[Chorus]
Diamonds
That's what we grind for
Diamonds
What these niggas be dyin' for (All I want is diamonds)
Love the feeling on my neck
Diamonds
I remember when I couldn't afford
Diamonds
That's what we grind for
Diamonds
What these niggas be dyin' for (All I want is diamonds)
Love the feeling on my neck
Diamonds
I remember when I couldn't afford

[Outro]
Diamonds
What these bitches be lookin' for
I remember when I couldn't afford
Diamonds
Love the feeling on my neck
I remember when I couldn't afford

NAV

Navraj Singh Goraya (born November 3, 1989), popularly known as NAV, is an Indian-Canadian recording artist, record producer, and engineer from Rexdale, Ontario, Canada, a district of Toronto. His parents are both from the state of Punjab in India and are fluent in the Punjabi language; NAV himself is fluent in both English and Punjabi and practices the religion of Sikhism, the religion the majority of Punjabs practice.

Following in the footsteps of Canadian singer The Weeknd, the co-founder and leader of XO and a frequent collaborator of his, NAV has preferred to let his SoundCloud do the talking in the early stages of his career. Although going largely unnoticed at the time of its release, NAV’s first noteworthy production credit was in July 2015 when he helped co-produce Drake’s diss track towards Meek Mill, “Back to Back.”

After hearing a string of successful SoundCloud hits, including the self-produced “Myself,” in 2016, Amir “Cash” Esmailian,, the co-founder and manager of XO, reached out to NAV, giving him an opportunity to expand from the revolutionary music platform. NAV has grabbed numerous features since linking up with The Weeknd and the rest of XO, consisting of Belly, 88GLAM, and Black Atlass. His first and arguably most recognizable feature (which he also solely produced) is Travis Scott’s September 2016 song, “beibs in the trap,” from Travis' sophomore studio album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
