Live with no regrets
Live with no regrets
Leave the light on
In the darkest corner of your mind
Your ambition floats so freely
But it cannot stop time
You forget what the future says
You ignore the present tense
You can't seem to forget your past
I wanna be right
I wanna be wrong
I wanna be weak
And I wanna be strong
I wanna live on the edge
I wanna live with no regrets
Live with no regrets
I wanna live with no regrets
You just wanted what you wantеd
Everyday and all the time, oh no
All thе lessons, all the lively
Couldn't be learned in your mind
Don't forget what the future says
Live in the present tense
If you wanna break free from the past
I wanna be right
I wanna be wrong
I wanna be weak
And I wanna be strong
I wanna live on the edge
I wanna live with no regrets
Live with no regrets
Don't say it should have been
Don't say it could have been
'Cause what should have been
Has happened by now
Don't say it should have been
Don't say someday, somehow
Say right now, say right now
Right now, right now
I wanna be right
I wanna be wrong
I wanna be weak
And I wanna be strong
I wanna live on the edge
I wanna live with no regrets
Live with no regrets
I wanna live with no regrets
Live with no regrets

She began her career in 1996 contributing vocals to Plains of Fascination’s “Walkin' 4 The Streets” and forming Nelstar. After leaving the group, Furtado released her debut single “Party’s Just Begun (Again)”.

Her debut album Whoa! Nelly was released in 2000 to worldwide success with hits such as “I’m Like a Bird”, “Turn Off the Light”, and “…On the Radio (Remember the Days)”. It received four Grammy nominations and one of the singles won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. It’s sold nine-million copies worldwide to date. Folklore is Furtado’s second album released in 2003. The album was not as successful as the previous one due to change in sound. “Try” and “Powerless (Say What You Want)” were the only top-ten hits from the album.
