[Spoken]
C'mon, it's lovely! C'mon!
This the life in the country! (lovely!)
I'm going for a swim
Yeah!
Lovely! Lovely! Lovely!

[Intro]
I lie around all over the place

[Verse 1]
It seems that I have no choice in the matter
Roll along, wheel of fortune
As you roll along, I stick around
Furthermore, in the country, I will lay my burden down

[Chorus]
I lie around
I lie around
I lie around all over the place
All over the place
All over the place
All over the place

[Verse 2]
Too long (too long) have I (have I) been the heart of the matter
All along (along), I was only (only) over tired and overtaken
Furthermore (furthermore), in the country (the country)
I will lay my burden down

[Chorus]
I lie around
I lie around
I lie around all over the place

[Verse 3]
So long, bye bye
It was fun while it mattered
Roll along, wheel of fortune
As you roll along, I stick around
Furthermore, in the country, I will lay my burden down

[Outro]
Yes, I lie around all over the place
All over the place
All over the place
I lie around, around

Paul McCartney & Wings

Paul McCartney and Wings, also known simply as Wings, were an Anglo-American rock band formed in 1971 by former Beatle Paul McCartney with his wife Linda McCartney on keyboards, session drummer Denny Seiwell, and former Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine. Wings were noted for frequent personnel changes as well as commercial success, going through three lead guitarists and four drummers. However, the core trio of the McCartneys and Laine remained intact throughout the group’s existence until 1981.
