[Verse 1]
Mary had a little lamb
It's fleece was white as snow
And everywhere that Mary went
That lamb was sure to go

[Chorus]
And you could hear them singing:
La, la
La, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
La, la
La, la
La, la, la, la, la, la

[Verse 2]
It followed her to school one day
It was against the rules
Made the children laugh and play to
See a lamb at school

[Chorus]
And you could hear them singing:
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la, la, la, la
Everybody sing it:
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la, la, la, la

[Verse 3]
Soon the teacher turned it out
But still it lingered near
Waited patiently about till
Mary did appear

[Chorus]
And you could hear them singing:
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la, la, la, la
Everybody sing it:
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la, la, la, la

[Verse 4]
"But the lamb loved Mary so"
The eager children cry
"And Mary loves the lamb, you know"
The teacher did reply

[Chorus]
And you could hear them singing:
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la, la, la, la
Everybody sing it:
La, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la (la, la, la, la, la)
La, la, la, la, la

[Outro]
La, la
La, la
La, la

Paul McCartney & Wings

Paul McCartney and Wings, also known simply as Wings, were an Anglo-American rock band formed in 1971 by former Beatle Paul McCartney with his wife Linda McCartney on keyboards, session drummer Denny Seiwell, and former Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine. Wings were noted for frequent personnel changes as well as commercial success, going through three lead guitarists and four drummers. However, the core trio of the McCartneys and Laine remained intact throughout the group’s existence until 1981.
