[Intro]
People, people
Ah, people
This song is about you

[Chorus]
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody ringin' the bell
Do me a favor
Open the door, and let 'em in, let 'em in now

[Chorus]
Oh, someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a flavor
Open the door, and let 'em in, yeah, yeah, now
Oh, let 'em in

[Verse]
Sister Suzy, brother John
Martin Luther, Phil and Don
Brother Michael, Auntie Gin
Open the door, let 'em in, oh yeah, yeah

[Verse]
Oh, now, sister Suzy, brother John
Well, Martin Luther, and Phil and Don
Uncle Ernie, and Auntie Gin
Just open the door, and let 'em in, oh yeah, yeah

[Chorus]
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a favor
Won't you open that door, let 'em in
Oh, let 'em in, let 'em in, let 'em in, let 'em

[Verse]
Well, now, sister Suzy, and brother John
Yeah, Martin Luther, Phil and Don, yeah, yeah
Ah, Uncle Ernie, and my Auntie Gin
Sing, open the door, and let 'em in, oh yeah, yeah

[Chorus]
Well, someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a flavor
Won't you open that door, and let 'em in
Oh no, come on, let 'em in, let 'em in, yeah

[Outro]
Someone knockin' at the door
Come on, come on, let 'em in
Oh, let 'em in, let 'em in, let 'em in, yeah
Ooh yeah, ooh yeah

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
