[Verse 1]
Come now, lady, don't you do me wrong
I fell for you, and now it won't be long
Before I hold you in my arms
Before I take you to my heart again

[Verse 2]
Time is flying by us every day
I want to show my love in every way
I want to hold you in my arms
I want to take you to my heart again

[Chorus]
If you believe it, you can stay all night
Hide in the darkness 'til it's getting light
Do everything until we've got it done
Then sing hosanna to the morning sun
Hosanna, hosanna
Sing hosanna to the morning sun

[Verse 3]
Calm down, lady, don't put up a fight
If you are true, you know the time is right
For me to hold you in my arms
For me to take you to my heart

[Chorus]
If you believe it we can stay all night
Hide in the darkness till it's getting light
Do everything until we've got it done
Then sing hosanna to the morning sun
Hosanna, hosanna
Sing hosanna to the morning sun
Hosanna, hosanna

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
