[Verse 1]
Aw yeah, it's Paula P and Premier
We risin' out the cuts, what? Jealous eyes wanna stare
Who cares? I double-dare
Fulton aves, pay a fare when you're comin' through
Every day I get saluted by gods on the boulevard
In my mind I know it's hard
So I'm tryin' to build somethin' up
Throw the dice, raise the dank up
I take a bitch back in the days when we had cars we used to crank up
Smack 'em up, smell the coffee
Get up off me, chick, I'm on top of this, please
Assessing needs on bonds at Mickey D's
Pure like nuns, score all his needs
More than a woman like the Bee Gees
But I still squeeze these
Hollow heads for hard heads
I shock a bitch and have her wig lookin' like Chaka
Khan, word is bond, napalm bombs we drop up in your lawn

[Chorus]
Ayo, extra, extra, read the headlines
We plantin' landmines, we get up in that ass every time
You better ask somebody, young Gottis
Fast hotties, what, what, we in your lobby
Extra, extra, read the headlines
We plantin' landmines, we get up in that ass every time
You better ask somebody, young Gottis
Fast hotties, wanted posters in the lobby

[Verse 2]
Yeah, check the inside edition, Premier, strap 'em to the chair
We gon' make 'em listen, I'll hold your ears
Hostage, let's get it on
Top story shit, Fox Five, tell Penny Crone
I can see it now, you're home alone
Check it, I'm on your fire escape
Lookin' at you, check, I got the duct tape, check
I got the apple 'bout to grab you up
From the back of your wrap, I thrive for that surprised look
Knowin' you're shook, touch tone sudden off the hook
Brooknam, ghetto design, close the book
We hit the cement in Lugz, niggas that wear Boss
Claimin' to be thugs and chicks that's gossipin' too much
I hold a grudge, what? Tug of war
Prepare for the mud, what? P Perry
Sister Sledge gettin' down and dirty over your head
Ain't nothin' y'all can do, I'm here, I swear
Every time you hear somethin' I drop
Make sure your hear it clear

[Chorus]
Ayo, extra, extra, read the headlines
We plantin' landmines, we get up in that ass every time
You better ask somebody, young Gottis
Fast hotties, what, what, we in your lobby

[Verse 3]
It's my prerogative like Bobby Brown
You get down, I get around like Pac, y'all sit around and watch
I blow the spot, any spot, The Tunnel
Or S.O.'s, Vertigo's, showin' love to my Latinos
Nine-eight settin' 'em straight, sippin' V8
Familiar face in any place we lace
For y'all gamblers y'all gonna ace
Elaborate my hate with Paper Mates
I'm tryin' to escalate to the rooftop
I used to sell blue tops
Got credit from the weed spot
From Trini with the dreadlocks
When I'm broke I still smoke a lot
Choke a lot, cool cops gave a bitch props
Only faggots bust shots
While kids be playin' hopscotch
In broad day, Fort Knox
Every day around the way it stay hot
FG too hot for TV
Cats rep for GP
Signed and sealed, done deal
What's real is real, uh
Paula Perry, here I come again

[Chorus]
Ayo, extra, extra, read the headlines
We plantin' landmines, we get up in that ass every time
You better ask somebody, young Gottis
Fast hotties, what, what, we in your lobby
Extra, extra, read the headlines
We plantin' landmines, we get up in that ass every time
You better ask somebody, young Gottis
Fast hotties, wanted posters in the lobby

[Outro]
Paula Perry
Paula Perry here I come
Paula Perry
Paula Perry here I come
Paula Perry
Here I come

Paula Perry

Paula Perry is most known for her guest appearances on Masta Ace I.N.C. crew jams “Who U Jackin'?” from the group’s first album, May 1994’s Slaughtahouse and “Eastbound”, “The B-Side” & “Ain’t No Game” featured on the sophomore album, May 1995’s Sittin' On Chrome, both released under the Delicious Vinyl imprint. She subsequently released her 1996 single, “Paula’s Jam,” which became an underground hit.

In 1998, Paula released her follow-up single, “Extra, Extra,” produced by DJ Premier from her debut LP titled Tales From Fort Knox, the project pays homage to her birthplace and stomping ground Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The album is laced with beats from heavyweight hip-hop producers like Clark Kent, Easy Moe Bee and Masta Ace (under the pseudonym Ase One) and guest appearances by Bahamadia, Heather B., Nikki D, Brian McKnight, Kelly Price & Lost Boyz just to name a few.

Unfortunately, her debut effort did not gain enough mainstream attention to turn a profit due to her label, Loose Cannon Records, a division of PolyGram had folded. She eventually moved to Motown Records. Although Paula failed to garner commercial success as a solo artist. She did not let that deter her and continued to strive to create music for avid hip-hop heads. She released a couple of independent mixtapes of her own. My Way released in June 2009 and Godmommy, released the following month of the same year. Take Another Shot At It, which was later released in July of 2012.
