Songwriter: John Lennon

Producer: Vini Poncia

I was dreamin' of the past
And my heart was beatin' fast
I began to lose control
I began to lose control

[Chorus]
I didn't mean to hurt you
And I'm sorry I made you cry
I didn't want to hurt you
I'm just a jealous guy

[Verse]
Well I was feelin' insecure
You might not love me anymore
I was shiverin' inside
I was shiverin' inside

[Chorus]
[Piano Break]
I was swallowin' my pain
I was swallowin' my pain
I didn't mean to hurt you
And I'm sorry I made you cry, cry, cry
I didn't want to hurt you
Oh no, I'm still a jealous guy
Whoa, I'm a jealous guy
Watch out, look out
Swallowin' my pain
I was dreamin' of the past
