[Verse 1]
So I gave my cost a game
I'm running to the city
Tryna find a reason
I'm tryna be a stronger man
Or some type of lover
Said I paid my way to win
I'm running from the city
'Cause I've found my reason
Tryna be a better man
Or some type of lover
Eh eeeh eh

[Chorus]
And when the rain gets to falling
It's coming down on me
Feels like the weight of the world
Was blind, but now I see that it's just Holy water
It reminds me not to lose my soul, ooh oh

[Verse 2]
Blue skies and the memory of you
Making me feel special
No one makes me feel like you do
And at the same time, the moon lets me know that you know this
But part of me feels like, for you
I would give my soul, just to make you feel good, baby
Never leave you left alone, eh
Said I paid my way to win
I'm running from the city
'Cause I've found my reason

[Chorus]
That's when the rain gets to falling
It's coming down on me
Feels like the weight of the world
Was blind, but now I see that it's just Holy water
It reminds me not to lose my soul, ooh oh

[Bridge]
Say there is a ghost to remind me of me
Remind me not to lose my soul, uuh uh

[Chorus]
That's when the rain gets to falling
It's coming down on me
Feels like the weight of the world
Was blind, but now I see that it's just Holy water
It reminds me not to lose my soul, ooh oh

Ro James

R&B singer Ro James (born Ronnie James Tucker) was born on November 19, 1987, to an extremely religious household. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany because his father served in the military. He then moved to America and lived with his grandmother for a year in New York before moving to California, Oklahoma, and several other locations throughout the U.S., but he would still visit New York every summer to see his grandmother. His father’s profession as a pastor influenced his love of Gospel music. When asked about having to sing in church because of his father and

He always tried to make us sing and I would hate it

Ro was a bit of a troublemaker growing up, even going as far as stealing a teacher’s wallet and buying pizza for the entire class in 7th grade. He was punished by his mother, who forced him to study. He believes that his punishment is what improved his penmanship. He would later go on to become friends with fellow R&B artist Miguel through Myspace.
