[Verse 1]
You said I was Nothern scum
I was wounded baby
That's fighting talk where I'm from
And I'm not moving baby

[Pre-Chorus]
Spent my life
Dancing with shadows in strobe lights
It's alright
Everything mellows in sunlight

[Chorus]
And now London's got its gimmicks
And New York's had its minute
But Knutsford City Limits
I'll never change

[Verse 2]
I've been running nearly all my life
It left me broken baby
When the meter ran out on life
I used my tokens. baby

[Pre-Chorus]
Spent my life
Dancing with shadows in strobe lights
It's alright
Everything mellows in sunlight

[Chorus]
And now London's got its gimmicks
And New York's had its minute
But Knutsford City Limits
I'll never change

[Chorus]
London's got its gimmicks
And New York's had its minute
But Knutsford City Limits
I'll never change

[Bridge]
I've been running nearly all my life
It left me broken baby
When the meter went out on life
I used my tokens, lady
You said I was Nothern scum
I was wounded, baby
That's fighting talk where I'm from
And I'm not moving baby

[Chorus]
London's got its gimmicks
And New York's had its minute
But Knutsford City Limits
I'll never change

[Verse 3]
Saw one transmission
On the television
Saying I can't do my job
Well, I just kept dancing
Don't hate me 'cause I'm handsome
And the beat will never stop
Saw one transmission
On the television
Saying I can't do my job
Well, I just kept dancing
Don't hate me 'cause I'm handsome
And the beat will never stop
Saw one transmission
On the television
Saying I can't do my job
Well, I just kept dancing
Don't hate me 'cause I'm handsome
And the beat will never stop
Saw one transmission
On the television
Saying I can't do my job
Well, I just kept dancing
Don't hate me 'cause I'm handsome
And the beat will never stop

Robbie Williams

One of Britain’s biggest pop acts, Robbie Williams is an English singer-songwriter. He originally rose to fame in boy band Take That but left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career.

He released his debut album, Life Thru a Lens, in 1997. Although slow to take off, after the success of single “Angels”, the album rose to No.1 in the UK charts. Then his second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, became an even bigger success. Released in 1998, it produced hits “Millennium”, “Strong” and “She’s the One”.

His success continued on third album Sing When You’re Winning, released in 2000, which contains hits “Rock DJ”, “Kids” and “Supreme”; fourth album Swing When You’re Winning (2001) a compilation of big band standards, with single “Somethin' Stupid”; fifth album Escapology (2002), which contains the hit “Feel”; sixth album Intensive Care (2005) with hits “Tripping” and “Sin Sin Sin”.
