When I held you last night
Aah, how I loved you
I was unable then to say what I mean
Everything that I say and do
Everything that I am includes you
Everything seems so clear, now that I love you
Come on, there's no time to stop
Baby, what you waiting for

You were made for me, tailor made for me, yeah
Darling, it's not our choice, who we fall for
Come on girl, take my hand, see what we do
There are some things you can't ignore
Love and devotions won't conform
But it's not up to me or up to you
Vanity's, ideals demand were satisfied
With what love plans

You were made for me, tailor made for me
There are something you can't ignore
Love and emotions won't conform
So let me tell you first-hand how much I love you
Fantasy may be grand but it's above you
Say you like the real thing more
Baby, what you waiting for

You were made for me, tailor made for me
You were made for me, custom built for me, yeah
You were made for me, custom made for me
You were made for me, tailor made for me

Robert Palmer

Robert Allen Palmer (19 January 1949 – 26 September 2003) was an English singer-songwriter[1] and musician. He was known for his distinctive soulful voice, eclectic mix of musical styles on his albums, combining soul, jazz, rock, pop, reggae and blues and sartorial acumen. He found success both in his solo career and with the Power Station, and had Top 10 songs in both the UK and the US.

His iconic music videos directed by British fashion photographer Terence Donovan for the hits “Addicted to Love” and “Simply Irresistible” featured identically dressed dancing women with pale faces, dark eye makeup and bright red lipstick, which resembled the women in the art of Patrick Nagel, an artist popular in the 1980s. Palmer’s involvement in the music industry commenced in the 1960s, covered four decades and included a spell with Vinegar Joe.
