[Verse 1]
I went to Paris, museum
Stood in line, oh, to see her face
All the women of the world
Ain't got nothin’ on her
When I stood in front of her
Lookin' eye to eye

[Pre-Chorus]
She said to me
"Do you remember
When we were lovers
Oh, in another time?"
Here we are again
I can feel your heart
Keepin' time with mine
Oh, as eternal lovers

[Chorus]
Oh, I’m a-searchin'
Oh, I'm a-searchin'
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
Said I'm a-searchin'
Said I'm a-searchin'
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
I’ve got to find you
I’m a step behind you
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
It's all because of you
It’s all because of you
That my dreams
Have not come true

[Refrain]
Mona, hey
Mona, hey

[Pre-Chorus]
She said to me
"Do you remember
When we were lovers
Oh, in another time?"
Here we are again
I can feel your heart
Keepin' time with mine
Oh, as eternal lovers

[Chorus]
Oh, I'm a-searchin'
Oh, I’m a-searchin'
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
Said I'm a-searchin'
Said I'm a-searchin'
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
I've got to find you
I'm a step behind you
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
It's all because of you
It's all because of you
That my dreams
Have not come true
Mona

[Instrumental]

[Chorus]
Oh, I'm a-searchin'
Oh, I'm a-searchin'
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
Said I'm a-searchin'
Said I'm a-searchin'
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
I've got to find you
I'm a step behind you
My Mona Lisa
My Mona Lisa
It's all because of you
It's all because of you
That my dreams
Have not come true

[Outro]
Mona, Mona, Mona
Mona, Mona, Mona
Mona Lisa, yeah
Mona, Mona, Mona
Mona, Mona, Mona
Mona Lisa
Mona, Mona, Mona
Mona, Mona, Mona
Mona Lisa
Mona, Mona, Mona

Santana

Carlos Augusto Alves Santana (born July 20, 1947 in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco) is a Mexican and American musician who became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, Santana, which pioneered a fusion of rock and Latin American music. Carlos prefers to only play and leave lead vocals to guest singers. The band’s sound featured his melodic, blues-based guitar lines set against Latin and African rhythms featuring percussion instruments such as timbales and congas not generally heard in rock music. He experienced a resurgence of popularity and critical acclaim in the late 1990s. In 2003 Rolling Stone magazine listed Santana at number 20 on their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He has won ten Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammy Awards.
