[Chorus]
Staring at the stars for too long
Twisting what is right with who’s wrong
No more satisfaction move on
Staring at the stars for too long

[Verse 1]
I think my compassions long gone
I've been moving reckless since the start
I don't think I'll ever fall apart
Staring at the stars for too long

[Chorus]
Staring at the stars for too long
Twisting what is right with who’s wrong
No more satisfaction move on
Staring at the stars for too long

[Verse 2]
Okay hold your breath
Stop claiming it's not fair
We live this life full scale we know
Don’t plead the fifth
I'm forced to dream of bliss
I wanted more than this
I feel it in my fist I know

[Chorus]
Staring at the stars for too long
Twisting what is right with who’s wrong
No more satisfaction move on
Staring at the stars for too long

[Refrain]
Staring at the stars for too long
Staring at the stars for too long
Staring at the stars for too long
Staring at the stars for too long

Marius Lucas-Antonio Listhrop (born June 19, 1994), better known by the stage name Scarlxrd—pronounced “Scar Lord”—is a British artist from Wolverhampton, England. Formerly a YouTube vlogger known as Mazzi Maz, he garnered attention for his collaborations with fellow YouTuber Sam Pepper. He later deleted his videos in order to create a new image for himself and began rapping in 2015; releasing projects at a rapid rate. He was also the vocalist for rap-rock band Myth City.

He is known for replacing “O"s with "X"s when stylizing letters, as well as his unique sound, which combines rap and metal. He gained notoriety upon the release of his April 2017 single, “Heart Attack,” which has over 13 million plays on SoundCloud and nearly 80 million views on YouTube, as of July 2020.
