Poisoned Hearts, Poisoned Minds
Join In Hate
We're Like Machines
Dead, Do Not Create
Sitting Docile
While All around is Rot
We Point Fingers
But Destruction Never Stops

Can You Stop It?
Do You Want To?

We Poison The Planet
Cities Contaminated With Acid Rain
We Poison Our Bodies To Alleviate The Pain
Of What We Do To Each Other
And What's Done To Us
And There Are TV-screens
Sowing The Seeds Of Distrust

Can You Stop It?
Do You Want To?

Can You Stop It?
Do You Want To?

Poisoned Hearts, Poisoned Minds
Join In Hate
We're Like Machines
Dead, Do Not Create
Sitting Docile
While All around is Rot
We Point Fingers
But Destruction Never Stops

Can You Stop It?
Do You Want To?

They Call It Human Nature
But Is This humane?
Hurting Each Other
Then Again And Again
How Can We Look At Ourselves
After What We've Done
Stop Looking Out For Yourself
Look Out For Everyone

Can You Stop It?
Do You Want To?
No!

Sepultura

Sepultura is a Brazilian heavy metal band from Belo Horizonte. Formed in 1984 by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, the band was a major force in the death metal, thrash metal and groove metal genres during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their later experiments drawing influence from alternative metal, world music, nu metal, hardcore punk and industrial metal.

The first Sepultura show was on December 4th, 1984. The band played two songs that never were re-recorded or released.

The band name comes from a Portuguese translation of Motörhead’s song “Dancing on Your Grave” which is “Dançando na sua Sepultura”. Sepultura means “grave” (sepulchre) in Portuguese (and in some other Latin-based languages). Originally, they wanted to call the band Tropa de Choque (Shock Troops), but found that the name had been used before.
