[Verse 1]
Telling lies right into your face
Grab your soul and make a disgrace
Make you believe you're bigger than life
No one cares if you'll live or die
Waiting for the moment to strike
To take possession to take your heart
Turn your part into a farce
Without respect, without regret

[Chorus]
Cut-throat, cut-throat, cut-throat
Cut-throat, cut-throat, cut-throat

[Verse 2]
You promise this and promise that
Deep inside nothing at all
In a war of filth and greed
We don't need this kind of shit
All I say that we'll survive
We know what's true, we know what's right
We're going through this till the end
And I know you're not my friend

[Chorus]
Cut-throat, cut-throat, cut-throat
Cut-throat, cut-throat, cut-throat
Fuck

[Bridge]
To give in, no fucking way
To give in, no way

[Verse 3]
So don't tell us it can't be done
Putting down what you don't know
Money isn't our god
Integrity will free our soul
Enslavement, pathetic
Ignorant corporations

[Chorus]
Cut-throat, cut-throat, cut-throat
Cut-throat, cut-throat, cut-throat

Sepultura

Sepultura is a Brazilian heavy metal band from Belo Horizonte. Formed in 1984 by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera, the band was a major force in the death metal, thrash metal and groove metal genres during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their later experiments drawing influence from alternative metal, world music, nu metal, hardcore punk and industrial metal.

The first Sepultura show was on December 4th, 1984. The band played two songs that never were re-recorded or released.

The band name comes from a Portuguese translation of Motörhead’s song “Dancing on Your Grave” which is “Dançando na sua Sepultura”. Sepultura means “grave” (sepulchre) in Portuguese (and in some other Latin-based languages). Originally, they wanted to call the band Tropa de Choque (Shock Troops), but found that the name had been used before.
