[Verse 1]
He drinks, he smokes
He’ll cuss, he swears, he tells bad jokes
And he ropes, and he rides
He lives life fast, and he loves to fight
He's a boozer, a loser
He calls me up when he's had too much
He's a schemer, a dreamer

[Pre-Chorus]
Well, I tell him to change his ways
But he just turns to me and says
"I (I) ain't (Ain't) no quitter"
Whoa!

[Chorus]
I ain't giving up on him just yet
‘Cause I'm as stubborn as a girl can get
No, he won't quit, but you can bet
I'm stickin' to it
I (I) ain't (ain't)
No, I ain't no quitter

[Verse 2]
Well, he chews and he spits
Well, he flirts too much and he loves blonde chicks
And he struts, and he strolls
And he looks so cool, and yeah, he knows
He's a beauty, a cutie
His body rocks, and the girls, they flock
He's afflicted, addicted

[Pre-Chorus]
Well, I tell him to change his ways
But he just turns to me and says
"I (I) ain't (Ain't) no quitter"
Whoa!

[Chorus]
No, I ain't giving up on him just yet
Mmm, ‘cause I'm as stubborn as a girl can get
No, he won't quit, but you can bet
I'm stickin' to it
I (I) ain't (Ain't)
I ain't no quitter
Wah-ooh!

[Bridge]
Oh, his body rocks, and the girls, they flock
He's afflicted, addicted

[Pre-Chorus]
Well, I tell him to change his ways
But he just turns to me and says
"I (I) ain't (Ain't) no quitter"
Whoa!

[Chorus]
I ain't giving up on him just yet
‘Cause I'm as stubborn as a girl can get
No, I ain't giving up on him just yet
Mmm, ‘cause I'm as stubborn as a girl can get
No, he won't quit, but you can bet
I'm stickin' to it
I (I) ain't (Ain't)
Yeah, I ain't no quitter

[Outro]
Oh-oh, baby, I (I) ain't (Ain't) no quitter
Mmmm, yeah, I (I) ain't (Ain't)
Yeah, I ain't no quitter

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
