[Verse 1]
Every road had a rainbow
And every wish had a star
Every tear had a shoulder to cry on
And every night had guitars
But every fool's a lonely fool
And such a fool am I
'Cause every night I think of you
And every night I die

[Chorus]
Is there life after love?
Some things aren't certain
But some things I'm sure of
Like angels in heaven
And God up above
But is there life after love?

[Verse 2]
You gave me forgiveness
But you could not forget
No, I should never have told you
What I'll live to regret
The truth lies between us
And I can't take it back
No, it's too late for lying now
It's too late for that

[Chorus]
Is there life after love?
Some things aren't certain
But some things I'm sure of
Like angels in heaven
And God up above
But is there life after love?

[Bridge]
Here I am, there you are
We're so far apart
Let's pretend that I've never been
In his hands, in his heart
Can't we just start
All over again?

[Chorus]
Is there life after love?
Some things aren't certain
But some things I'm sure of
Like angels in heaven
And God up above
But is there life after love?

[Outro]
Is there life after love?

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
