[Verse 1]
I'm not saying I have all the answers
And I don't care who's right or wrong
I'm trying to pick up the pieces already fallen
And put them back where they belong

[Chorus]
So slow down your horses
Stop dragging me around
And if crying is the only way into your heart
Then leaving is the only way out

[Verse 2]
We've slammed every door in anger
And we've opened wounds we can't mend
And one night lonely is one night too many
Don't wanna wake up to one more night that won't end

[Chorus]
So slow down your horses
Stop dragging love around
And if crying is the only way into your heart
Then leaving is the only way out

[Verse 3]
When late nights and long lies came knocking
You just invited them in
And our voices got too loud for talking
Then my heart hit the floor
But your feet just kept walking

[Outro]
And if crying is the only way you hear me hurting
For the loving that I can't live without
And if loving ain't the only way into your heart
Then leaving is the only way out
Oh, leaving is the only way out

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
