[Intro]
Oh yeah
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah

[Verse 1]
It must be Monday
What a dumb day
Can't drag my butt outta bed
Somebody stop me
I need another coffee
Like a hole in my head

[Pre-Chorus]
When every day begins this way
Gets you down and can drive you mad
The daily grind can freak your mind
But life isn't all that bad

[Chorus]
Don't let it get to you
C'est la vie
That's life and that's how it's gonna be
C'est la vie
Hold tight, it comes right eventually
Oh

[Verse 2]
If only I could sleep in
And wake up on the weekend
Oh, what a dream that would be, yeah
But fat chance for that one
It ain't gonna happen
Bettеr get back to reality

[Pre-Chorus]
I could be a slob or keep my job
That is thе choice we have
The daily grind can freak your mind
But life isn't all that bad

[Chorus]
Don't let it get to you
C'est la vie
That's life and that's how it's gonna be
C'est la vie
Hold tight, it comes right eventually
Oh

[Bridge]
Everybody's got to do it
Everybody's got to earn their way
Oh, come on now
You gotta work your own way through it
Everybody's got their dues to pay
Hey, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, the daily grind can freak your mind
But life isn't all that bad

[Chorus]
Don't let it get to you
C'est la vie
That's life and that's how it's gonna be
C'est la vie
Hold tight, it comes right eventually
Yeah, yeah, yeah
C'est la vie
That's life and that's how it's gonna be
Oh, come on, now
C'est la vie
Hold tight, it comes right eventually
Oh

[Outro]
Oh
C'est la vie

Shania Twain

Sometimes referred to as the “queen of country pop,” Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in the history of country music, having sold 85 million+ records. She is the first and only female music artist to have three albums in a row certified Diamond by the RIAA.

Shania Twain retired from performing in 2009, citing a weakening singing voice, later consulting specialists who diagnosed her with dysphonia, likely a result of lyme disease. She returned to the stage in her show Still the One in 2012, and begun touring again in 2015.

In October 2016 she told Rolling Stone she had new music coming “really soon” which followed her plans to release her fifth studio album when she was 50.
