Hello my friend, hello
Hello my friend, hello
So nice to see you out tonight

Hello my friend, hello
The table set for twelve
The ringing of the bells

The night outside is bright with snow
But it's warm outside, with the fire blow
May all release their heavy load

Hello my friend, hello
The garland decks the hall
The season fills us all

And though the year has come and passed
The dark winter's gone at last
The earth atones for all we lack

Hello my friend, hello
Tonight the stars align
We all partake the wine

With merry hearts and innocence
All of children and all of friends
The beggars sing with recompense

Hello my friend, hello
Hello my friend, hello
Hello my friend, hello
So nice to see you out tonight
Hello my friend, hello
