We finally made our way out of the storm
With only minutes left to spare
Well there's a new home waiting on the outpost

Touch down onto the surface that we found
Hope for the planet that just may
Keep us moving

When the stars are falling
We can hear them calling
And we won't stop searching
Into the night we ride

It's the last stop
We say goodbye to all we know
Same fate that helped us get this far
Now there's a new hope far beyond this outpost

Touch down onto the surface that we found
Hope for the planet that just may
Keep us moving

When the stars are falling
We can hear them calling
And we won't stop searching
Into the night we ride

Along the way
Along the way
Who knows what we'll discover

The price we pay
The price we pay
For our sisters and brothers

We lost our way
We lost our way
Oh the hell that we've uncovered

Along the way
We lost our way
We lost our way

Touch down onto the surface that we found
Hope for the planet that just may
Keep us moving

When the stars are falling
We can hear them calling
And we won't stop searching
Into the night we ride

And we won't stop searching
Into the night we ride

Styx

Styx is a rock band from Chicago formed in 1970. They enjoyed great success with pop rock and hard rock songs, and became famous for their power ballads and album releases of the mid 1970s and early 80s.

The band has gone through some famously nasty internal struggles, drug problems, illnesses and deaths, but continues to perform today (with a significantly altered line-up). Tommy Shaw, from Montgomery, AL, left but returned to the band. Drummer John Panozzo developed a debilitating drinking problem and ultimately died. Dennis DeYoung developed an acute case of photosensitivity, and he left the band. They fought among themselves for control of the band name. Glen Burtnik also left and returned, this time on bass, to replace Chuck Panozzo (John’s brother), who had also left the band. (whew.)
