[Verse 1]
Everything started with instinct
My heart and my body felt in sync
Figured out what I've been missing right then and here, yeah
Tried to grow up in a hurry
Caught in the sound and the fury
That's when it starts to get blurry, yeah-yeah
Hmm, the doctor wrote me my prescription
Had a taste, I was addicted
Ate the candy that was given to me, bittersweet

[Chorus]
Walked to the beat of my heart
Got me a shot with the stars
Now I can't help wishin' for, a little more space
Followed the path that I saw
I'd pay whatever thе cost
Now the only thing I can afford is, a little more

[Verse 2]
Spеnt my whole life with somebody
Wasted a whole lot of money
Anything not to be lonely
Oh-oh, ooh-woah, oh
Mama's an entertainer, daddy's stranger in the orbit
Got a lot of baggage, always feelin' like a tourist
Surfin' though cyberspace, debatin' what's important (Yeah)

[Chorus]
Walked to the beat of my heart
Got me a shot with the stars
Now the only thing I'm wishin' for is a little more space
Followed the path that I saw
I'd pay whatever the cost
Now the only thing I can afford is, a little more

[Instrumental Outro]

The Neighbourhood

Hailing from Newbury Park, California, upstart indie band The Neighbourhood finds its influences as diverse as hip-hop (where lead vocalist Jesse Rutherford had his musical beginnings) and the classic black and white aesthetic that often dominates their music videos and outfits. The current members are Jesse, Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels (guitarists), Mikey Margott (bassist), and Brandon Fried (drummer). The Neighbourhood is often abbreviated to “The NBHD.” The band are easily recognisable by their signature upside-down house logo, which is tattooed on every band member.

With the release of the extended plays Thank You, and I’m Sorry…, the band accumulated a wide range of fandom appreciation.

Following the rising success of their hit single “Sweater Weather,” the band released their debut album in 2013 entitled I Love You. to a far wider popularity than that which preceded them. The band have also gained traction over the years by touring with artists like Travis Scott, Danny Brown, Imagine Dragons and Charli XCX.
