[Verse 1]
Dirty fingernails, same as your mind
But he could strum the guitar just fine
Every now and then he'd think about his life
Daydreamin' just to pass the time

[Pre-Chorus]
Now the sun is closer than it was before
Anyone who's anyone can feel it

[Chorus]
Saturdays are not the same as they used to be
Sadder days, why do they keep on using me?
They keep on using me

[Verse 2]
Even as a child everyone would say
He was gonna be a star someday
Finally he found a way to reach the sky
But he didn't know what he'd find

[Pre-Chorus]
Now the sun is closer than it was before
Anyone who's anyone can feel it, mmm

[Chorus]
Saturdays are not the same as they used to be
Sadder days, why do they keep on using me?
They keep on using me

[Bridge]
He's got a big head full of trash
And he talks down every chance he gets
He's a grown man with committable mistakes

[Outro]
Saturdays are not the same as they used to be
Sadder days, why do they keep on using me?
Saturdays are not the same as they used to be
Sadder days, why do they keep on using me?
Saturdays are not the same as they used to be
Sadder days, why do they keep on using me?
They keep on using me
They keep on using me
They keep on using me
They keep on using me
They keep on using me

The Neighbourhood

Hailing from Newbury Park, California, upstart indie band The Neighbourhood finds its influences as diverse as hip-hop (where lead vocalist Jesse Rutherford had his musical beginnings) and the classic black and white aesthetic that often dominates their music videos and outfits. The current members are Jesse, Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels (guitarists), Mikey Margott (bassist), and Brandon Fried (drummer). The Neighbourhood is often abbreviated to “The NBHD.” The band are easily recognisable by their signature upside-down house logo, which is tattooed on every band member.

With the release of the extended plays Thank You, and I’m Sorry…, the band accumulated a wide range of fandom appreciation.

Following the rising success of their hit single “Sweater Weather,” the band released their debut album in 2013 entitled I Love You. to a far wider popularity than that which preceded them. The band have also gained traction over the years by touring with artists like Travis Scott, Danny Brown, Imagine Dragons and Charli XCX.
