[Verse 1]
Deep inside your soul there's a hole you don't want to see
Every single day what you say makes no sense to me
Even though I try, I can't get my head around you

Somewhere in the night there's a light in front of me
Heaven up above with a shove, I beg it's me
Even though I try, I fall in the river of you
You've managed to bring me down, too

[Interlude]
All your faking (Get Up, Get Up, Get Up, Get Up)
Shows you're aching (Get Up, Get Up, Get Up)

[Verse 2]
Every single day what you say makes no sense to me
Letting you inside, isn't right, don't mess with me
I never really know what's really going on inside you

[Chorus]
I can't get my head around you

[Interlude]
All your feeding (Get Up, Get Up, Get Up, Get Up)
Shows you're bleeding (Get Up, Get Up, Get Up)

[Bridge]
Deep inside your soul there's a hole you don't want to see
Covering it up like a cut with the likes of me
You know I've really tried, I can't do anymore about you
Yeah, the cut's getting deeper
Yeah, the hill's getting steeper
I guess I'll never know what's really going on inside you

[Chorus]
I can't get my head around you
I can't get my head around you
I can't get my head around you
I can't get my head around you

The Offspring

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The current line-up of the band Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg “Greg K.” Kriesel (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).

The Offspring is currently one of the biggest punk rock acts, along with the likes of Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all of which come from California. The Offspring and other groups are credited for reviving main-stream punk rock, though it isn’t as popular as it was in the ‘80s.
