Just a face in a smoke-filled room
Such a lovely face, oh lord, and the smell of sweet perfume
She smiles, she smiles when she says hello
Just a look in her eyes, oh lord, sets my little heart aglow

Then I knew she would have to be
The one and only girl in the world for me

Sha la la la la, you're my lady love
Sha la la la la, you're my lady love

I never knew such a girl could exist
And that falling in love could make me feel likе this
To her I would give, I swear I would givе tender love and care
And whatever, whatever she needed, don't you know I'd always be right there

I know love comes easy brothers
But I can't find a way
But when she comes near me, I begin to stutter
And all I can say

Sha la la la la, you're my lady love
Sha la la la la, you're my lady love

When I smile, when I smile and I ask to take her home
She smiles right back at me and she says "oh gee, what took you so long?"

Then I knew she was meant for me
When she said she wanted, she wanted to be

Sha la la la la, you're my lady love
Sha la la la la, you're my lady love
