[Verse 1]
I said, "Hey, girl, what you drinkin'?"
She said, "I'm gonna stop you right there, right now."
I said, "Hold up, girl, that wasn't my intention
I just think you're beautiful; can I buy you a round?"
She said, "I'm all over relationships"
Yeah, just came off of that buzz
Yeah, I ain't lookin' for nothin' serious
Oh, but if I was

[Chorus]
He can't be afraid to get his white truck muddy
He gotta pick me over all of his buddies
Somebody that's fit but not too athletic
Somebody that's tough but a little poetic
Somebody that don't come from trust fund money
Somebody that thinks all my bad jokes sound funny
Yeah, call me crazy, but it's easy to see
Yeah, baby, I think that you're lookin' for someone like me
Oh yeah, somebody like me

[Verse 2]
She said, "You're either cocky or confident
Or a little bit of both, I ain't decided yet."
It's a little bit cute, to be honest
I said, "Nah, girl, you're just being modest, but anyway."
He can't be blowin' up my phone
He can't be callin', askin' when I'm comin' home
I'm so sorry, it must be the Tanqueray
Guess what I'm tryin' to say

[Chorus 2]
Oh. let me tell you what she said
He can't be afraid to get his white truck muddy
He gotta pick me over all of his buddies
Somebody who's fit, but not too athletic
Somebody who's tough but a little poetic (Just a little bit)
Somebody that don't come from trust fund money
Somebody that thinks all my bad jokes sound funny (All my bad jokes sound funny)
Yeah, call me crazy, but it's easy to see (It's so easy to see)
That baby, I think that you're lookin' for someone like me
(I know you're lookin', babe, I know you're lookin' babe)
For somebody like me

[Outro]
(Somebody like, somebody like me)
(Somebody like, somebody like me)
Baby, I think that you're lookin' for someone like me
