Songwriter: John Lennon

[Verse 1]
Instant Karma's going to get you
Gonna knock you right on the head
You better get yourself together
Pretty soon you're going to be dead
What in the world are you thinking of
Laughing in the face of love?
What on Earth are you tryin' to do?
It's up to you, yeah, you!

[Verse 2]
Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna look you right in the face
You better get yourself together, darling
Join the human race
How in the world you gonna see
Laughing at fools like me?
Who on Earth do you think you are?
A superstar? Well, right you are!

[Chorus]
Well, we all shine on
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
Well, we all shine on
Every one, come on

[Verse 2]
Instant Karma's going to get you
Gonna knock you right off your feet
Better recognize your brother's
Every one you meet
Why on Earth are we here?
Surely not to live in pain and fear
Why on Earth are you there
When you're everywhere?
Come and get your share!

[Chorus]
Well, we all shine on
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
Well, we all shine on
Every one, come on

[Interlude]
Yeah, yeah, alright

[Outro]
Well, we all shine on
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
And we all shine on
Come on and on and on and on and on

Well, we all shine on
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
Well, we all shine on
Every one, come on

Well, we all shine on (shine on)
Like the moon, stars, and the sun (shine on)
Well, we all shine on (shine on, baby)

Well, we all shine on (shine)
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
Well, we all shine on

Well, we all shine on (shine on)
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
Well, we all shine on (na na na na)

Well, we all shine on (yeah we all shine on)
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
Well, we all shine on (woo)

Well, we all shine on
Like the moon, stars, and the sun
And we all shine on

Toad the Wet Sprocket

Toad the Wet Sprocket are an alternative rock band from Santa Barbera, California, formed in 1986 when its members were in high school.

The band found mainstream success in the early 1990s with singles such as “All I Want” and “Walk on the Ocean”. The group split up from 1998 to 2003, but a “reunion album” wouldn’t appear until 2013.

The band took its name from a “Monty Python” sketch.
