[Chorus]
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah
Than I was when I met you
Than I was when I met you, oh yeah (Yeah)
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah (Yeah)

[Verse 1]
You toast your friends 'cause I left
But you know I'm never coming back in
Once I walk out the door
Screw our loose ends in this war
It was all about the power play, babe
And I can't do it no more

[Pre-Chorus]
Heartbreak pays bills
You lose, I win

[Chorus]
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah
Than I was when I met you (Sadder, badder, cooler)
Than I was when I met you, oh yeah (Yeah)
I'm sadder (Sadder, badder, cooler), I'm badder
I'm cooler, yeah (Yeah)

[Verse 2]
Love a good cry in the night
Oh, this sad girl life, just do it for me
Come to my pity party
Done with my pride, I don't mind
I just wanna be dramatic tonight
And make this song about me

[Pre-Chorus]
Heartbreak pays bills
You lose, I win

[Chorus]
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah
I'm sadder, I'm badder, I'm cooler, yeah
Than I was when I met you (Sadder, badder, cooler)
Than I was when I met you, oh yeah (Yeah)
I'm sadder (Sadder, badder, cooler), I'm badder
I'm cooler, yeah (Yeah)

[Post-Chorus]
Ooh (Sadder, badder, cooler)
Why am I cooler than you? (Yeah)
Ooh (Sadder, badder, cooler)
Why am I cooler than you? (Yeah)
(I'm sadder, I'm badder) Ooh (Sadder, badder, cooler)
Why am I cooler than you? (Yeah)
(I'm sadder, I'm badder) Ooh (Sadder, badder, cooler)
Why am I cooler than you? (Yeah)

[Outro]
Sadder, badder, cooler
Yeah
Sadder, badder, cooler
Yeah, yeah

Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson, professionally known as Tove Lo (pronounced Too-veh-Lu), is a Swedish singer-songwriter born and raised in Djursholm, Sweden.

She first rose to prominence for her single, “Habits (Stay High)“, which became a top ten hit in the U.S. a year after its 2013 release, a dark breakup anthem that generated such Internet buzz that it led to a deal with Universal. “Habits“ and its follow-up, “Out of Mind“, appeared on her debut EP Truth Serum, in 2014.

Later that year, her debut album, Queen of the Clouds, arrived, featuring “Habits“. The album was a Top 10 hit in Sweden and a Top 20 hit in the U.S. and U.K., and the subsequent single “Talking Body“ was a similar success.
