[Verse 1]
Fist fights, long nights, come home late
Can't sleep, I keep me awake
Flip through the lives on TV
I'll say, for now, I'm happy

[Pre-Chorus]
Love it when I'm play-pretending
When I can take bullets to the heart
Fuckin' up my happy ending
But I can take bullets to the heart

[Chorus]
Breathing violence and love, I was born on the scene
Now it runs in my blood, yeah, you know what I mean
When I'm dead and gone, will they sing about me?
Dead and gone, will they scream my name?
Scream my name

[Verse 2]
Wake up, guard up, and I'm bored
Night runs with guns, too hardcore
Don't dare to care about someone
I'm dirt, I'm ice, is that wrong?

[Pre-Chorus]
Love it when I'm play-pretending
When I can take bullets to the heart
Fuckin' up my happy ending
But I can take bullets to the heart

[Chorus]
Breathing violence and love, I was born on the scene
Now it runs in my blood, yeah, you know what I mean
When I'm dead and gone, will they sing about me?
Dead and gone, will they scream my name?
Breathing violence and love, I was born on the scene
Now it runs in my blood, yeah, you know what I mean
When I'm dead and gone, will they sing about me?
Dead and gone, will they scream my name?
Scream my name

[Bridge]
(Ah-ah)
Ah

[Outro]
Ah-ah

Tove Lo

Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson, professionally known as Tove Lo (pronounced Too-veh-Lu), is a Swedish singer-songwriter born and raised in Djursholm, Sweden.

She first rose to prominence for her single, “Habits (Stay High)“, which became a top ten hit in the U.S. a year after its 2013 release, a dark breakup anthem that generated such Internet buzz that it led to a deal with Universal. “Habits“ and its follow-up, “Out of Mind“, appeared on her debut EP Truth Serum, in 2014.

Later that year, her debut album, Queen of the Clouds, arrived, featuring “Habits“. The album was a Top 10 hit in Sweden and a Top 20 hit in the U.S. and U.K., and the subsequent single “Talking Body“ was a similar success.
