Lyrics from Snippet

[Trippie Redd]
I'm a real killer, can't pretend to be (Huh)
Grim Reaper when you mention me
Hundred racks in, spent a fifty-piece
Two hundred fifity Richard Mille piece
Came from the jungle, bitch, I been a beast
I ain't starvin', bitch, I gotta eat
Kill a nigga [?], baby know I'm [?]
Big backwoods, bitch, we smokin' a sequoia tree
Bitch, I'm the bomb, blowin' up like a morning team
I ain't trippin', ten million off of quarantine
Baby, I drip, I splash like some chlorine
Navy SEAL shit, keep a chop', bought a submarine
Met a real bitch, gave me top, she wanna fuck with me
In the field, bitch, green beam out with Sunny D
Told her, "Keep it real," baby, keep it a buck with me
Said she in love with a thug, then she stuck with me
Keep the chicken-chicken in my pocket, got a cluck with me
This the real deal, nah, for real, [?] stuck with me
Got boo'd at, SB in the cut with me
Boy, you dumb as fuck if you say you never hurt me
Got real killers talkin' 'bout they wanna murder me
Can't let it happen, it's a state of a murder scene
Lot of bad thoughts, havin' dreams of impurgin' me
Had the mask on, I was doin' damn burglaries
It's a lot of real niggas that I met that encouraged me
Murder rate up, it's a state of emergency

[Sunny 2point0]
Make a nigga body vanish, turn into smithereens...

Trippie Redd

Hailing from Canton, Ohio, just south of Akron, Trippie Redd, real name Michael White IV (born June 18, 1999), is an artist who is well known for his singles “Love Scars” and “Romeo and Juliet”. Influenced by Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, T-Pain, and even rock band KISS, Redd’s material tends to follow a cloud-rap style with themes of love and sex. His style has also, controversially, been compared to that of Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert. However, Redd has addressed this situation in a video to his fans.

Trippie Redd has spoken about how he got his name in an interview with Big Boy. In the interview, Trippie explains that the reason he began rapping to begin with was to honor his older brother, who he looked up to as a role model and had passed away while Trippie was still young. Trippie’s original name was Hippie Redd. He had then changed it to Trippy Hippie, and chose to combine the two thus forming the name Trippie Redd.

Redd began his career on SoundCloud in late 2015 with his song, “Angry Vibes” and has released several tracks on this platform ever since. So far, Redd has released five mixtapes and collaborated with the likes of Kodie Shane, 6ix9ine, XXXTENTACION, Famous Dex, UnoTheActivist, and DaBaby.
