I can see by your eyes
Though you try to disguise
You've been cryin’
As the tears fall like rain
All the heartache and pain
Feel love dying

Don't worry, baby
I'll make it right
Take you out of the darkness
Into the light

So don’t say goodbye
Let's talk it over
Don't say goodbye
Let's talk it over
What happened to
The love we once knew?
Let's talk it over

How did we end up here
Drownin' in tears
Where love used to be?
I can't hardly believe you're gonna leave
Baby, talk to me, talk to me
Words left unspoken
And cold in the air
When two hearts are broken
It’s too much to bear

So don’t say goodbye
Let's talk it over
Don’t say goodbye
Let's talk it over
What happened to
The love we once knew?
Let's talk it over

Two hearts together
Break just like one
Try not to cry
Don't say goodbye
Let’s talk it over

I didn't mean to hurt you, baby, baby
Or cause so much pain
Let's stay together
Let's start again
So don't say goodbye

You're my angel of light
You shine through my night
Always there for me
After all we've been through
All I'm askin' of you
Baby, talk to me
Talk to me, talk to me, baby

Don't worry, baby
I'll make it right
Take you out of the darkness
Into the light

So don't say goodbye
Let's talk it over
Don't say goodbye
Let's talk it over
What happened to
The love we once knew?
Let's talk it over

Let's talk it over
Let's talk it over
Let's talk it over
Let's talk it over
Let's talk it over
Let's talk it over
Let's talk it over

Whitesnake

Whitesnake are a rock band formed in England in 1978 by David Coverdale, after his departure from his previous band Deep Purple. Their early material has been compared by critics to the blues rock of Deep Purple, but they slowly began moving toward a more commercially accessible rock style. By the turn of the decade, the band’s commercial fortunes changed and they released a string of UK top 10 albums, Ready an' Willing (1980), Come an' Get It (1981), Saints & Sinners (1982) and Slide It In (1984), the last of which was their first to chart in the US and is certified 2x platinum.
