[Intro: Corbyn Besson]
'Cause only never comes when never's all you know

[Verse 1: Zach Herron & Jack Avery]
Tired of running from tomorrow
I lie awake on sleepless nights
Will I ever know the answer to the writing on the wall?
Will I ever find the light?

[Pre-Chorus: Jonah Marais, Daniel Seavey & Corbyn Besson]
These days when struggle's all you know
These days when trouble's at your door
You're doing your thing trying to cope
Don't hold onto pain let it go
'Cause never comes only when never is all that you know

[Chorus: Zach Herron, Jack Avery, Daniel Seavey & Corbyn Besson]
You gotta take the chance right in front of you
You gotta make your plans, whatcha gonna do?
This could be your last dance, so you better leave it on the floor
'Cause only never comes when never's all you know

[Post-Chorus: Corbyn Besson]
Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know

[Verse 2: Zach Herron & Jack Avery]
I can never know forever
Let it go without a fight
I've been searching for the answer to the writing on the wall
I've been looking for the light

[Pre-Chorus: Jonah Marais, Daniel Seavey & Corbyn Besson]
These days when struggle's all you know
These days when trouble's at your door
You're doing your thing trying to cope
Don't hold onto pain let it go
'Cause never comes only when never is all that you know

[Chorus: Zach Herron, Jack Avery, Daniel Seavey & Corbyn Besson]
You gotta take the chance right in front of you
You gotta make your plans, whatcha gonna do?
This could be your last dance, so you better leave it on the floor
'Cause only never comes when never's all you know

[Post-Chorus: Corbyn Besson]
Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know
Say my name, say my name, say my name
Never's all you know

Why Don’t We

Why Don’t We is a boy band consisting of Daniel Seavey, Zach Herron, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais and Jack Avery. The members individually gained recognition over social media by posting covers and doing live streams. Seavey was also a contestant on season 14 of the American TV show American Idol. The group started activities on September 27, 2016, with the release of their two singles “Taking You” and “Nobody Gotta Know” and EP Only The Beginning, shortly thereafter.

The band gained a lot of recognition from their 2017 single “Something Different”. They went on to release four EPs in that year, notably gaining recognition for their collaboration with YouTuber Logan Paul, who also directed several of their music videos at this time.

Their first release in 2018, the Ed Sheeran-written “Trust Fund Baby,” ranked #2 on the American iTunes Chart, and was the band’s highest achievement to that date. They released three singles in June, July and August of that year preceding their first full length album on August 31, 2018. “Talk”, the second pre-release, peaked at #1 on the American iTunes Chart, surpassing their personal record just five months later.
