[Intro]
Ice cream man
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
Ooh, ice cream man
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
Ooh, ice cream man

[Verse 1]
I'm sitting on my own again (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
Wondering what all my friends did last night (Ooh)
They think that I hate them (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
Because I haven't sent 'em a text in two days (Ooh)
Laying on a concrete bench (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
Trying to rid my head from the cobwebs (Ooh)
Society sits on a fence (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
And I don't wanna get out of bed for your nonsense

[Chorus]
You are just an ice cream man
Take my dreams and get them banned
Lock me up inside your van
And I don't wanna be a part of it, man

[Post-Chorus]
Ice cream man!
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
Ooh, ice cream man

[Verse 2]
I'm all used up, got nothing left (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
I've got bumper cars inside my chest that don't hold back (Ooh)
Go M-I-A and I am oppressed (Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
And my mother thinks I'll be dead for the weekend (Ooh)
No, I won't ever be like the others (I won't ever be like the others)
Hate myself and marry my cousin
I won't ever be like the others (I won't ever be like the others)
Hate myself and marry my cousin, no

[Chorus]
You are just an ice cream man
Take my dreams and get them banned
Lock me up inside your van
And I don't wanna be a part of it, man

[Bridge]
Give me champagne and TV
To make sure I fall asleep
Give me champagne and TV
To make sure I fall asleep
Ice cream man!

[Spoken Interlude]
Good afternoon
This is the council
We're turning your gas off
(Ice cream man!)

[Chorus]
You are just an ice cream man
Take my dreams and get them banned
Lock me up inside your van
And I don't wanna be a part of it, man

[Outro]
Ice cream man
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah)
(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, ooh)
Ice cream man
And I don't wanna be a part of it, man

YUNGBLUD

Dominic Richard Harrison, who performs under the moniker of YUNGBLUD, fuses alternative rock and hip-hop while speaking up on important topics like mental illness and politics. Hailing from Doncaster, England, he cites acts like Arctic Monkeys and Eminem as influences.

Harrison grew up surrounded by music, and in several interviews he mentions that his parents placed a ukulele in his hands within days of his birth. His father owned a guitar shop and his grandfather was part of T. Rex.

Before becoming YUNGBLUD, he performed as Harrison, releasing songs like “Miss Those Days” with an upbeat acoustic flare. In his late teens, Harrison was approached by a record label, and conformed to their expectations hoping for a successful career, but he left the label in favor of making the music he truly wanted to create.
