Asher Monroe Book (born September 18, 1988), known professionally as Asher Monroe, is a singer-songwriter, dancer, and actor from America. Monroe has been named by MTV to be one of the best breakthrough artists of 2012 , as well as appeared on the cover of Billboard Magazine.
His acting career started when he landed a minor role in the Broadway Production of Beauty and The Beast when he was 7 years old. He continued to stay in acting, landing major roles in the 2009 remake of “Fame”, and Television drama series Parenthood.
After high school, Monroe became the lead singer of V Factory until it was disbanded in 2009. In 2011, under the shortened name of Asher Book, Book launched his solo music career co-writing and producing songs. His first notable success was the release of his solo music video.
