いきものがかり (Ikimono Gakari)
いきものがかり (Ikimonogakari) is a three-piece co-ed Japanese band that was formed in February 1999 by Hotaka Yamashita (山下穂尊) and Yoshiki Mizuno (水野良樹) in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan – vocalist Kiyoe Yoshioka (吉岡聖恵) was added in December of 1999.
The band made their major-label debut with the album 桜咲く街物語 (Story of the Town where the Sakura Bloom) in 2007 despite releasing their first EP 人生すごろくだべ。 (Life is Amazing) in 2003.
