Original singer Lil Nas X teamed up with country legend Billy Ray Cyrus to make a remix of the December 2018 country and rap hit song “Old Town Road” on April 5, 2019. Almost a month later on May 2, 2019, they made another remix of the remix with extra music dance genre production and musical drops from famous producer Diplo. Two months later on July 12, 2019, they made a second remix of the original remix featuring Atlanta rapper Young Thug and 2018 Walmart yodeling boy Mason Ramsey.
