You can have a strong voice and the best production, but a great artist will be incomplete without the heart. Ryan Sykes has some to give, and he is out to prove it. The seventeen-year-old singer-songwriter was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, and soon found an interest in music during his childhood. As he grew older, Sykes grew an appreciation for pop music and modern artists such as Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez. After honing his talents for years in high school with friends and family, he would officially begin his career in the summer of 2019 with his debut single “Blame You.” A string of successful singles built him a small fanbase in his hometown that he is looking to carry over to his upcoming live performances and his debut album in 2020. Listeners thus far have related heavily to his innate passion and emotional performances, and Sykes is no doubt one of Ontario’s hottest rising pop stars!
