Considered to be one of the greatest UK battle rappers, Adam Rooney—better known by his stage name SHOTTY HORROH—specialises in entertaining rap battles and hard-hitting lyrics.

He established himself in 2007, but didn’t make his debut in battle rap until early 2011 on the UK rap battle league Don’t Flop, regularly dispatching of opponents over the years. Having helped the league succeed, Shotty retired from Don’t Flop with the promise not to return in 2013 after setting a record win/loss ratio of 14 wins & 1 loss. By then, Canadian rap battle league King of the Dot spotted him and hosted a few of his battles—allowing him to be talent scouted by the likes of Drake and deadmau5.

Shotty returned to making his music and in 2016 announced his retirement from battle rap completely.
