The Longshot is a side-project by Billie Joe Armstrong, best known for being a frontman of the rock band Green Day.
The first rumors about a new band appeared in February, as the Instagram Account longshot shared a sneak peek of some lyrics. A few weeks after that, Billie Joe shared clues on his Instagram account, and then, he confirmed that The Longshot is by him.
Their first EP with 3 songs was released on the night of 11/12 April 2018.
