Hailing from England, Thom Yorke (born 7 October 1968) is best known for being the frontman and creative powerhouse behind the widely praised alternative rock band Radiohead. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with other acclaimed artists, such as Björk and Flying Lotus.

His first solo studio album, The Eraser, was released in 2006 to warm reception and chart success in the United States and United Kingdom. The album incorporated elements of electronica, experimental rock, and alternative rock.

In 2009, he teamed up with bassist Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, drummer Joey Waronker from R.E.M., and percussionist Marco Refosco from Forro in the Dark, to create a supergroup responsible for playing The Eraser live. They eventually became known as Atoms for Peace. Their debut album Amok was released in 2013.
