[Verse 1]
Girl I'm tryna be your purple rain
The city got us both too far away
I know your ex, he ain't got no juice
He don't know what's up with me and you
Tell me all the shit that you got bottled in
I need someone I can share this bottle with
Jimmy Hendrix playing out in Malibu
It's bringin' out another side of you

[Chorus]
The pink dust keep
Blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin'
Blowin', blowin', blowin'
It keep kinda like
Goin', goin', goin', goin', goin', goin'
Goin', goin', goin'
It ain’t the same when you
Gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone
The pink dust keep
Blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin'
Blowin', blowin', blowin'

[Verse 2]
Yeah drivin' through my hood, nothin' ain't the same
Since you left my feelings haven't changed
Yeah these some shooters but I'm bulletproof
They don't know what's up with me and you
So much goin' on, I wanna share with you
But I don't wanna talk, I wanna lay with you
Shit feel like a drug, I wanna take it with you
I'm in the air with you

[Chorus]
The pink dust keep
Blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin'
Blowin', blowin', blowin'
It keep kinda like
Goin', goin', goin', goin', goin', goin'
Goin', goin', goin'
It ain’t the same when you
Gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone, gone
The pink dust keep
Blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin', blowin'
Blowin', blowin', blowin'

[Outro]
Wish I could've watch the sunrise with you
(I wanna raise the sunrise)
Wish I could've watch the sunrise with you
(I wanna take it all night with you)

A.CHAL

Alejandro Salazar, known as A.CHAL (short for Alejandro Chal), is a Peruvian singer-songwriter and producer. His sound is described as falling somewhere “in the negative space between hip hop, R&B, chillwave, and pop music.”

A.CHAL was born in Peru, then later moved with his family to New York when he was 4 years old. In 2010, he relocated to Los Angeles and started making music, but he started rapping when he was just 12 years old. His lyrics speak about struggles, dreams and relationships, and sometimes jump from English to Spanish.

A.CHAL’s debut EP Ballroom Riots was released in 2013. However, he distances himself from this project, saying he doesn’t consider it his first “because it was something I made that was mainly production. I did not yet immerse myself as a vocalist. I was too shy at the time.”
