[Verse 1]
Another night with friends
Just to clear my damn thoughts
Then we gon' retire to the room
I'm in my same spots
Love it when it's late
'Cause we all start to talk
But, baby, you know all good things end
Rollin' over just to check
If you been blowing my phone up
No surprise the empty screen making my mind up
Sayin' I won't ever try to hit you up
But, baby, it's so late and I can feel you in the air

[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me if you like it when I hit you up so late
Tell me if you want me to bring it up the next day
'Cause I admit I must be gone and feeling emotion
Callin' your number so late askin' for devotion
Tell me if you like it when I hit you up so late

[Verse 2]
I got a lot I'm thinking 'bout
And wanna tell you
But I just feel like all my words would be of no use
'Cause we been down this road before
Your answers never were that good
(Your answers never were that good)
Can we meet up, baby?
Lemme say it clearly
I can be too clingy, I'm just
Hoping that you need me
Hoping that you feel me
Hoping that you never leave me

[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me if you like it when I hit you up so late
Tell me if you want me to bring it up the next day
'Cause I admit I must be gone and feeling emotion
Callin' your number so late askin' for devotion
Tell me if you like it when I hit you up so late

[Chorus]
Sad girl, sad girl
Sad girl hours
Sad girl, sad girl
Sad girl hours

[Bridge]
Droppin' a text pullin' away
Just tryna give you some space
Tryna decide just what to say
But I got too much on my plate
Baby, respond say whatcha think
Vulnerable and ready to link
These are the hours I feel it the most
The hours I just stop and think

[Pre-Chorus]
Tell me if you like it when I hit you up so late
Tell me if you want me to bring it up the next day
'Cause I admit I must be gone and feeling emotion
Callin' your number so late askin' for devotion
Tell me if you like it when I hit you up so late

[Chorus]
Sad girl, sad girl
Sad girl hours
Sad girl, sad girl
Sad girl hours
