[Verse 1]
I wish I had the right words to say
'Cause I don't want to be alone
I'll never have the right words to say
'Cause I won't tell you stay or go

[Pre-Chorus]
This is a lose lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose
And I'm gonna lose, lose, lose, lose, lose you

[Chorus]
Why do I have to ask you?
Why do I have to at all, at all?
Don't force my hand to be the bad guy
When either way, we're gonna lose
So why do I have to ask you at all?

[Post-Chorus]
Why do I, ask you, ask you at all, ask you

[Verse 2]
My stomach’s turning in the in-between
Why’s it so hard to make your mind up?
It’s not fair if you leave it up to me
I can’t be the one to decide for us

[Pre-Chorus]
This is a lose lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose
And I'm gonna lose, lose, lose, lose, lose you

[Chorus]
Why do I have to ask you?
Why do I have to at all, at all?
Don't force my hand to be the bad guy
When either way, we're gonna lose
So why do I have to ask you at all?

[Post-Chorus]
Why do I, why do I
Why do I at all?

[Bridge]
If I lose you this way, then I never had it
If I have to explain, then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway, then you never meant it
If I lose you this way, then I never had it
If I have to explain, then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway, then you never meant it

[Chorus]
Why do I have to ask you?
Why do I have to at all, at all?
Don't force my hand to be the bad guy
When either way, we're gonna lose
So why do I have to ask you at all?

[Outro]
If I lose you this way, then I never had it
If I have to explain, then you'll never get it (At all)
If you leave anyway, then you never meant it (At all)
If I lose you this way, then I never had it
If I have to explain, then you'll never get it
If you leave anyway, then you never meant it (Ask you)
(Ask you at all)
