[Verse 1]
Just like an angel, you're gonna make me fly
Into your arms, you're wrapping me up so tight

[Pre-Chorus]
You had me crawling so bad
Got me heels over head
You got me easy, you got me easy
Tangled up in my head
Quit trying to hold and to help me
'Cause we're already beautiful

[Chorus]
So don't make me cry (Don't make me cry)
'Cause this love don't feel so right (This love don't feel right)
You can't push a river
You can't make me fall
But you can make me unreachable

[Verse 2]
I may be sweet, but I'm still on the vine
You couldn't wait, no, you had to take your bite

[Pre-Chorus]
You had me crawling so bad
Had me heels over head
You had me easy, you had me easy
Too late to go back
To realize what we had
We were already beautiful

[Chorus]
So don't make me cry (Don't make me cry)
'Cause this love don't feel so right (This love don't feel right)
You can't push a river
You can't make me fall
But you can make me unreachable

[Bridge]
Sometimes love is addiction
Sometimes it hurts like hell and
Sometimes you just can't get enough
You can't make me love you
Any more than I do
But you can make me unreachable

[Chorus]
Don't make me cry (Don't make me cry)
'Cause this love don't feel right (This love don't feel right)
You can't push a river
You can't make me fall
But you can make me...
So don't make me cry (Don't make me cry)
'Cause this love don't feel so right (This love don't feel right)
You can't push a river
You can't make me fall
But you can make me unreachable

Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee Simpson (born October 3, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. The younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, she rose to prominence in the latter’s MTV reality show, and starred in her own spin-off The Ashlee Simpson Show which followed her creating her debut album, Autobiography, with the media noting her “punk-rock” image as a contrast to her sister. The album was released after the show’s first season in 2004 and became a big success, debuting at number one on the US albums chart being certified Triple Platinum. Following a North American concert tour and a film appearance, Ashlee released her second Platinum number-one album, I Am Me (2005). Ashlee assumed creative control over her less successful but well-received third album, Bittersweet World (2008), which differed from the pop-rock music of her previous efforts and featured a dance-pop, 1980s themed sound. In following years, she focused more on her acting career, scoring television and theatre roles while also starting her own family. In 2016, Simpson revealed she was working on new music with her husband Evan Ross and, in late 2018, they begun releasing music as a duo and called the project ASHLEE + EVAN.
